At Essential Communications we believe that we can achieve our clients' objectives only by liaising closely with them, by tailoring our services to suit their needs, by being innovative and original, and by being flexible to changes in their operating environment. | Briefing
At the outset we build a detailed profile of our client company, its background, products, objectives, target market and any relevant constraints using websites, published material and briefings.
During the contract we meet up with our client as often as possible to talk through product developments, company initiatives and procedural changes. We take advantage of trade fairs and conferences to sit down with the client and discuss current priorities and forthcoming initiatives.
However, with clients based all over the world, including Hawaii, Europe, the Middle and Far East, it would be impractical to always rely on face-to-face briefings. Email and telephone are indispensable tools in today's business world.
In short, the better the brief, the better the end result. | Strategy
Based on the briefing, Essential Communications proposes a public relations strategy which outlines the PR elements required by the client including copy-writing, press liaison, advertising and extended services. Target media and key markets are identified and the initial approach is outlined and a fee proposed.
The PR strategy will be modified and updated over the course of the contract to reflect the changing priorities of the client and new opportunities identified by the agency.
All public relations material is approved by the client before it is released. | Results
Essential Communications reports the results of its activities to the client and provides cuttings of relevant press coverage from the key trade journals and internet newsletters. Editorial ‘values' can be estimated if required by comparing with advertising cost equivalents. | |
