Capi intensifies collaboration with Harman International

In February, Capi, The Travellers Electronics Company, intensified its collaboration with Harman International, owner of JBL, Harman Kardon and AKG. In 2017, the two companies will increasingly focus on their joint sustainable business model on airports and cruise & ferry lines. This collaboration is a good example of the fruitful partnership Capi has with its suppliers, characterised by unique, Capi exclusive propositions and joint promotions specially tailored to travellers. Capi’s focused portfolio includes three Harman brands ranging from the trendy, fashionable and colourful JBL products, the premium Harman Kardon products aimed at business travellers to the exclusive, high-quality AKG products. These unique brands, which are perfectly suitable for travellers, have become extremely important at Capi and in the travel retail market. This growth has been achieved by the exciting shopping experience Capi creates, completed by the special promotions and trainings it provides together with Harman. One of these special and highly successful promotions is the airport exclusive gift box which Capi and Harman co-created. This gift box contains the Harman Kardon Esquire Mini and a free traveller’s case. Other examples include AKG’s award-winning noise-cancelling headphone and JBL in-store promotions. The companies will also extend their partnership by focusing on the Capi Global division for B2B customers active on airports and cruise & ferry lines. Based on its proven retail marketing concept, Capi offers these customers tailor-made and profitable retail solutions for consumer electronics. Besides the focused assortment available in the Capi stores, Harman will present an additional B2B assortment for Capi Global complemented by trainings, unique propositions and promotions.
