Aurora World launches its first eco-friendly range: Palm Pals

After announcing its initiative to use 100% sustainable materials for all of its products by the end of 2020, Aurora World is pleased to reveal its first Eco Friendly concept: Palm Pals. Named ‘Palm Pals’ for the way they comfortably sit in the palm of your hand, the range features a selection of super soft beanie plush made of entirely sustainable and eco-friendly materials. 12 different styles of Palm Pals will be available from February 2020: Slomo Sloth, Hedgie Hedgehog, Safara Giraffe, Betsy Chick, Chilly Penguin, Meow Kitty, Busky Husky, Wooley Lamb, Happy Hamster, Wizard Pig, Ella Bunny, and Sly Fox. All characters are 13 centimetres and retail at €8.95. Garry Stoner, Aurora World’s Travel Retail Manager, says: “We have received a lot of positive feedback since the announcement of our Green Initiative and we are very excited to be launching the first of many sustainable lines. As climate-change tension continues to rise, it is imperative that we do our bit to help the planet, and our new sustainable products can be purchased and joyed 100% guilt-free!” By the end of 2020, all of Aurora World’s products will be using fibre fill made from 100% recycled plastics, cloth labels made from 100% recycled materials, plastic pellets made from recycled plastics, as well as using recyclable hang tags and shipping materials. By going green, Aurora is saving over 3 million pounds of recycled plastics, cutting down paper usage by over 30% annually, and reducing its carbon footprint, in an effort to make it a greener world.
